Valtteri Bottas – 77 / Zhou Guanyu – 24
The Alfa Romeo name has been intertwined with Formula 1 since the championship’s inception in 1950. Fast-forward to the 21st century, and a fusion of Italian passion and Swiss precision defines a new era for the team that was formerly known as Sauber.
With a rich history of success in world sportscars, Peter Sauber, who played a pivotal role in nurturing future F1 stars like Michael Schumacher and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, steered his eponymous team into the world of Formula 1 in 1993.
Since then, this team has firmly entrenched itself as a fixture on the Formula 1 grid. They achieved race victories during their tenure under BMW’s ownership and have earned a well-deserved reputation for producing competitive cars and fostering and developing young driving talents.
Yuki Tsunoda – 22 / Daniel Ricciardo – 34
Established in 2006 as a squad in which young drivers from Red Bull’s prodigious talent pool could cut their F1 teeth, AlphaTauri – originally named Toro Rosso – was formed from the ashes of the plucky Minardi team. Sebastian Vettel gave validity to the approach almost immediately, delivering a fairy-tale win in 2008 before enjoying world championship success with parent team Red Bull Racing. Today, the ethos of nurturing talent still holds true, though the Italian squad are no longer simply a ‘B team’ but a constructor in their own right…
Nico Hülkenberg – 27 / Kevin Magnussen – 20
As the most youthful team in the Formula 1 lineup, Haas made an indelible mark with their remarkable inaugural season in 2016. Notably, they marked the return of an all-American-led Formula 1 outfit after a three-decade absence. Founded by industrialist Gene Haas, the team is headquartered in the United States, sharing the same Kannapolis, North Carolina facility as his championship-winning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, Stewart-Haas Racing.

Pierre Gasly – 10 / Esteban Ocon – 31
While Alpine may be a relatively fresh addition to the Formula 1 landscape, it carries the weight of a storied motorsport legacy, thanks to its affiliation with Renault’s renowned sportscar division. The team’s rebranding in 2021 represented the next chapter in Renault’s Formula 1 resurgence, a journey that began in 2016 with the acquisition of the formerly named Lotus team.
